Refund Policy

Effective May 2026

1. Digital SaaS — Immediate Access

Occlusion is a subscription-based software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform. Upon successful payment and account activation, you receive immediate, unrestricted access to proprietary intelligence surfaces, terminal workspaces, system configurations, DeFAI tooling, and predictive data modules included in your plan.

Because digital access is delivered in full at the moment of purchase, our offering is classified as a digital good with instant fulfillment. By subscribing, you acknowledge that value is conferred at activation, not at the end of a billing cycle.

2. Strict Refund Policy

EXCEPT WHERE REQUIRED BY APPLICABLE CONSUMER LAW, ALL SALES ARE FINAL. OCCLUSION DOES NOT OFFER PRORATED REFUNDS, PARTIAL REFUNDS, OR CREDITS FOR UNUSED TIME, MID-CYCLE CANCELLATIONS, DOWNGRADES, OR DISSATISFACTION WITH PREDICTIVE OUTPUTS, MARKET INTELLIGENCE, OR INFORMATIONAL CONTENT.

CANCELLATION STOPS FUTURE RENEWAL CHARGES ONLY. YOU RETAIN ACCESS THROUGH THE END OF THE CURRENT PAID PERIOD UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED AT CHECKOUT.

3. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal provided by Paddle at checkout or via the subscription management link in your receipt email. Cancellation prevents automatic renewal; it does not entitle you to a refund for the current billing period.

4. Merchant of Record — Paddle Handles Disputes

All orders are sold by Paddle.com as Merchant of Record. Paddle is responsible for payment processing, invoicing, tax collection, and customer billing support.

  • Refund requests:Must be submitted through Paddle's customer support framework unless mandatory local law provides otherwise.
  • Billing discrepancies: Duplicate charges, unrecognized transactions, or invoice errors must be reported to Paddle with your order reference.
  • Chargebacks & disputes: Initiated through your payment provider or Paddle; Occlusion does not adjudicate payment disputes directly.
  • Tax receipts: Issued by Paddle in accordance with applicable tax regulations.

Occlusion cannot override Paddle's determination on payment disputes. Disputes subject to mandatory consumer protection law may be escalated through Paddle's Merchant of Record dispute channels in accordance with applicable international electronic commerce standards.

5. Chargebacks & Abuse

Fraudulent chargebacks or abuse of dispute mechanisms may result in immediate account termination and permanent revocation of access, without refund, in addition to any remedies available under law.

6. Related Policies

This Refund Policy supplements our Terms of Service, including disclaimers that the Occlusion Service is informational only and provided "AS IS," with limitation of liability as set forth therein. Nothing in this Policy expands warranty or liability obligations beyond those Terms.

Effective May 2026. Occlusion does not publish a physical mailing address; all operational correspondence is conducted electronically through global infrastructure and Paddle channels.
